About the Home
Situated at 15/42 Bunker Bay Road, this striking coastal home features expansive glazing, raked ceilings, and an open-plan layout that connects indoor and outdoor living. While the result is visually stunning, the architectural design presented significant challenges when it came to integrating an efficient, discreet air conditioning system.

What We Delivered
We supplied and installed two Daikin ducted air conditioning systems across six zones, all managed through the Airtouch 5 controller. This smart zoning system gives homeowners precise control over temperatures in each area, maximising comfort and energy efficiency year-round.

Tackling a Complex Installation
The installation was far from standard. The home’s roof space was extremely limited, with narrow ceiling cavities and tight ducting voids running from the first floor to the ground level. Careful coordination with the builder and multiple trades was required to route the ductwork through restricted zones without compromising performance or design.

Our team developed a detailed plan that ensured airflow to every zone while preserving the home’s clean aesthetic. The Airtouch 5 controller provided a modern and intuitive interface for the owners, with the added benefit of mobile control.

The Outcome
Despite the structural challenges, the completed system fits the home seamlessly — both visually and functionally. It delivers quiet, energy-efficient climate control across the entire house, adding comfort without distraction.
